One Thing that Apparently Doesn't Always Go without Saying



Calgary Flames defenseman Cory Sarich is the latest player to accidentally put the puck in his own net, humiliating himself and further humiliating his team in what ended up a 7-2 loss to the Washington Capitals on Saturday. In gratitude, the Caps considered reaching out to the Flames and trying to acquire Sarich to boost their defense, but were quick to realize that they had already tried shooting themselves in the foot before by signing goalie Jose Theodore without much success.
